DevOps Profile

Seeking a full-time, remote opportunity in DevOps or System Administration with a focus on security and modern development practices. I started working with Linux servers in 1997 as part of 2 person team building a 6 machine Linux Computer lab from spare parts for my university computer department. It was based on junk parts and we were never sure if it would boot up the next time, but it sure was fun! Upon graduation in 2000 I moved to LAMP (PHP) stack dynamic web development as my career focus. I've provided project management, tech support, basic system admin and maintenance for all the projects I've worked during my career. I have been part of a distributed team working with Drupal back-end systems since 2008 with a development environment based in Git. After many years in web application development, I am ready for a change. I prefer to work remotely and have done so full-time since 2000 but am open to relocation for right opportunity.
